THE ALLIANCE OF CANADIAN HOME INSPECTORS BRINGS ORDER TO CHAOS

The Alliance of Canadian Home Inspectors originated with the purpose of teaming with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters to give all home inspectors across Canada, regardless of their membership in other associations, the opportunity to join an alliance of fellow inspectors, dedicated to the advancement and protection of the Home Inspection industry. The Alliance of Canadian Home Inspectors (A.C.H.I.) was formed to provide a positive, supportive team environment for all Home Inspectors across the country while providing the opportunity, through associating with the Teamsters of Canada, to be recognized by the government and large enough to represent our interests to other organizations to ensure our voices are heard. For the first time, Home Inspectors across the country will be unified under one banner and will enjoy the benefits of being associates of one of the largest Union organizations in North America; An organization that will be strong enough in numbers to have the ear of government and make real changes for the betterment of the industry. Additionally, through a democratic voting process, every home inspector member will have the opportunity to have their voice heard to formulate the direction and future of the industry. As an associate of the Teamsters, every individual will have fair, open and equal representation through their vote and our industry will finally have the strength behind us to ensure that those who should listen, will. It was the dream of the founders of the Alliance of Canadian Home Inspectors to offer its members benefits that provide true value to their business, while also providing a mentoring program, education courses and the opportunity for growth and betterment in their chosen profession: Working together as a unified group to help foster the success of each individual member. The Alliance of Canadian Home Inspectors is very proud to have brought their dream and vision to reality when after many months of negotiations and discussions with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters an agreement was reached an signed on Monday June 7, 2010. The Alliance of Canadian Home Inspectors, now under the union umbrella of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters has a direct purpose, vision and mission: To lead in the professional support, development and education of all home inspectors in order to promote the betterment and unification of the industry while moving towards the recognition as a professional trade. Above all, we encourage high standards, fair practices and superior service for all clients.
